The Very Hard Book started out almost by accident, when I was trying to do absolutely nothing. Here’s the story on Facebook.

It’s a book about thinking about thinking. Or, it’s a very silly book telling you to do very silly (and usually impossible) things.

One primary school teacher wrote me that it’s “…a masterpiece in curiosity and encouraging children (and adults) to allow their brain to itch and marinate on an idea and its possibilities.”
